Pakatkaa piknik-korinne ja tulkaa juhlimaan juhannusta Partikchill Lawn Bowls and Community Clubille (46 Partickhill Road, Glasgow, G11 5BY) sunnuntai-iltapäivänä 25.6. kello 13.30 alkaen!

Klubilla on lupa grillata, kunhan tuo oman grillin. (Jos jolla kulla on isompi grilli, jonka on valmis tuomaan paikalle yhteiseen käyttöön, laittakaa viestiä!).

Lapsille on ohjelmaa, mm. kasvomaalausta ja kesäkisat (saappaan heittoa, kolmijalkajuoksua, ilmapallon kuljetusta, perunaviestiä jne.). Aikuisilla on tilaisuus harjoitella mölkkytaitojaan. Kuoro esiintyy.

Myynnissä on mm. jälkiruokakahvit, mm. lettuja, pullaa ja kakkuja. (Ilmoita, jos voit tuoda jotakin myyntiin jälkiruokapöytään :)! )
Osallistumismaksu on £2 per henkilö tai £5 per perhe. Kerätyillä varoilla katetaan juhlien järjestelykuluja.

Klubilla on baari ja anniskeluoikeudet. Juhlatilaa on sekä ulkona että sisällä huonon sään sattuessa.

HUOM! Klubi toivoo, ettei nurmikoilla oleskella korkeakantaisissa kengissä, ts. mieluiten lenkkareissa.

Piknikille voi ilmoittautua Facebook -tapahtuman kautta. Ilmoittakaa tapahtuman kommenteissa montako henkilöä on tulossa, sekä kaikkien mukana tulevien lasten iät (lapsille suunnattua ohjelmaa ajatellen). Kiitos!

Pack your picnic-baskets and come to celebrate Midsummer with other Finns, friends and Finnish-minded people at the Partickhill Bowling club on the 25th June from 1.30pm-5pm!

We have the permission to BBQ at the club, but you need you bring your own BBQ. (If you should own a larger BBQ, which you are able to bring to the venue to be used jointly, please let us organisers know!).

There will be activities for children and the grown-ups can play Mölkky (Finnish throwing). The Glasgow’n Laulu choir will sing. The venue has a bar, and should it rain we can also use the indoor space.

The entrance fee is £2 per grown up, and £5 per family. We will also sell coffees with homebaking (pancakes, cakes, pulla etc) to raise money to cover the organisation costs of the event.

NB! The club advices they prefer people to wear flat soled shoes on the lawns and around the club.
